Senior Enrichment Center at Renaissance on 9th
Renaissance on 9th will host the following events and classes:

Ringling College Lifelong Learning Academy’s Einstein Circle: “Big History: 13.8 Billion Years of It!” is an open forum, moderated by Jeff Rodgers, provost and COO of the South Florida Museum and director of the Bishop Planetarium, examining human history in the context of a much larger story - the history of the universe. Capt. Richard Phillips Speaker Function
Capt. Turning Points’ annual “Walk a Mile in Their Shoes”
Turning Points’ fifth annual “Walk a Mile in Their Shoes” is a one-mile family fun awareness walk for kids, families and individuals. There will be a sand blast/castle competition, prize drawings, t-shirts for pre-registered walkers, a rock climbing wall, family pictures, face painting, kids activities, great food, and a post-walk party with music by a DJ. Color Vibe 5K
The Color Vibe 5K, a non-competitive “fun run,” will 9 a.m. April 1 at Premier Sports Campus, 14400 Covenant Way, Lakewood Ranch. Participants are encouraged to run or walk the course lined with color throwing stations, and enjoy a “Color Vibe Party” afterwards with music by a DJ. Annual Dick Vitale Gala

Adult ballet classes
Adult ballet classes resume full activity now through August 2017 with all levels on Saturday, Monday and Wednesday mornings. Advanced level, pointe, intermediate and mixed elementary levels. Boatworks of Florida Institute for Saltwater Heritage (FISH), will offer a free boat building class for beginners, including those who lack skills or confidence 9 a.m. Saturdays 4404 116th St. W., Cortez.
