MANATEE -- A cold front was expected to pass through Bradenton tonight, bringing high winds and a low temperature near 51. By Friday night, the low could dip to the mid-40s, according to the National Weather Service.
There was a slight chance of sprinkles between 7 p.m. and 10 p.m. Mostly cloudy skies will gradually become mostly clear, with a low around 51 and north-northwesterly winds between 11 mph and 15 mph, with gusts as high as 21 mph.
Friday -- Veterans Day -- will be sunny and breezy, with a high temperature of 67 and north-northeasterly winds of 13 mph to 15 mph, with gusts of up to 21 mph.
The low Friday was forecast to be 45.
Temperatures will again rise over the weekend, with a forecast high of 76 on Saturday and 81 on Sunday.
