Eat, Drink and Be Merry Cinema Program: South Florida Museum, 201 10th St. W., Bradenton

South Florida Museum invites the public to be a part of their newest offering, Eat, Drink and Be Merry Film Series, Thursdays with live music beginning at 6 p.m. The last movie “Chocolat” will be 7 p.m. Nov. 5. Music on Main: Main Street at Lakewood Ranch

Main Street at Lakewood Ranch will host Music on Main concert 6-9 p.m. Nov. 6 and every first Friday of the month featuring live music. This month’s band is SoulRCoaster. Beer, wine, and food sales will benefit the Lakewood Ranch Business Alliance. Bring own chairs and blankets. No coolers allowed. Dog on short leashes are permitted. Admission is free. The Bradenton Village of the Arts will hold its First Friday and Saturday Art Walk 6-9 p.m. Nov. 6 and 11 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Nov. 7. The Bradenton Courthouse Square Concert will be 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Nov. 6 with live music by acoustic guitarist, Brian Langill. Some tables and chairs will be provided and there are park benches on the courthouse grounds. The concerts are free. Information: 704-4366.

The Center Montessori School will be hosting its annual Art Festival 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Nov. 7 featuring art work displays, activities for kids including face painting, cookie decoration, veggie printing, snowflakes, masks and various other fun art activities.
