Halloween Horror Nights
Universal Studios’ Halloween Horror Nights begins Sept. 15 and continues select nights through Nov. 4, bringing unimaginable horrors to life in five spine-chilling “scare zones” filled with menacing scareactors that stalk guests’ as their prey. Haunted houses include The Shining, Saw: The Games of Jigsaw, American Horror Story: Volume 2, Horrors of Blumhouse, Ash vs. Evil Dead, Dead Waters, The Fallen, Scarecrow: The Reaping and The Hive. Classic Movies at the Opera House
Originally designed as a movie house and vaudeville theater, Sarasota Opera, 61 N. Pineapple Ave., Sarasota, is embracing the history of the building by bringing many of the classic films that once played at the theater when they originally premiered, they are: “A Night at the Opera,” Sept. 15, and “The Godfather,” Sept. 22.
