When you think about what goes on at the Seminole Hard Rock in Tampa, you probably think first about gambling and next about music.
Now the Hard Rock people want you to think about comedy, too. They're kicking off a new comedy series this weekend with a show that features three big names: Tom Arnold, Tom Green and Steve-O.
Arnold is the most substantial of the three, with some respected movie roles -- most notably as Arnold Schwarzenegger's wry sidekick in James Cameron's "True Lies"-- and Peabody Award for his work on Roseanne. He's recently been concentrating more on stand-up.
Green and Steve-O both made their name on MTV, Green with his own "Tom Green Show" and Steve-O as part of the giggling gross-out squad on "Jackass." They're both known largely as low-brow, shock-humor comics.
People must like 'em, though because the shows are sold out. If you want to see them, you can head up to Tampa and see if there are cancellations. If you can't get in there's plenty of other stuff to do at the Hard Rock.
If you don't like that idea, you don't have to wait long to see Arnold. He'll be at McCurdy's Comedy Theatre in Sarasota June 19-20.
The next show in the Hard Rock comedy series comes from "Everybody Loves Raymond" star Brad Garrett on June 12.
Details: 7:30 and 10:30 p.m. May 30, Hard Rock Café at Seminole Hard Rock Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, 5223 N. Orient Road, Tampa. Tickets: $69. Information: 813-627-7625, seminolehardrocktampa.com.
