Broadcasters Club of Florida Lifetime Achievement Award Luncheon: News Channel 8 Anchor Gayle Sierens will be given the Broadcasters Club of Florida's Lifetime Achievement Award at a luncheon 11:30 a.m. Nov. 14 at SaraBay Country Club, 7011 Willow St., Sarasota. Roaring 20's Dance Party Fundraiser: Step back in time and dance the night away at the Roaring 20's Dance Party Fundraiser 7:30-11 p.m. Nov. 15 at the Bradenton Woman's Club, 1705 Manatee Ave. W., Bradenton. There will be games of chance including roulette and blackjack, and live music and live and silent auctions. Hors d'oeuvres will be served. Beverages will be available for purchase. Annual Taste Of Crew On The River: The Manatee County Youth Rowing will host the third annual Taste of Crew On the River 6-9 p.m. Nov. 15 at the Ft. Hamer Boat House at Ft. Hamer Park at the end of Ft. Hamer Road in Parrish. The event features samplings of tasty tapas and other treats prepared by area restaurants and eateries. The outside area at the boat ramp will be decorated with tiki torches and there will be live music and a bonfire. High School athletes from Palmetto, Manatee and Southeast High as well as the athletes from the newly formed Middle School program will show off their racing equipment and boats. Tickets: $20-$25. "Trinkets, Baubles and Bling": The Ruskin Women's Club will host a holiday shopping extravaganza "Trinkets, Baubles and Bling" 8 a.m.-2 p.m. Nov. 15 at 503 S. Hwy. 41, Ruskin, featuring various vendors offering items and services for sale including jewelry, paintings, artwork, skin care products, permanent cosmetics, massage therapy, scrapbooking, quilts, spa services, and much more. "High Tide at High Noon" fashion show luncheon: Planned Parenthood will host their 18th annual fashion show and luncheon, High Tide at High Noon, at noon Nov. 17 at the Sarasota Yacht Club, 1100 John Ringling Blvd., Sarasota. Guests can enjoy bellini's and prosecco and a variety of fresh fare, resort style fashions by L Boutique, Terra Nova, Anna Molinari, Martin Freeman and Little Bo-Tique. Tickets: $50.
