My name is Edna M. Small and I would like to take a moment to let you know of the wonderful care that was given to me during my most recent stay at Freedom Village.
On Feb. 2, I underwent my 12th back surgery at Blake Medical Center and was then brought over to Freedom Village for my therapy and rehabilitation.
Due to my previous surgeries, this was not my first stay at this facility, it was my fourth within the last year and I wanted to advise everyone of the great job all the staff did. The nurses in the C-wing always did their best to make me as comfortable as possible. The therapists I had were patient as I gradually increased my mobility movements. I would highly recommend Freedom Village to anyone in need of great care.
Again, thank you for assisting me on getting back on my feet.
Never miss a local story.

Unfortunately, my wife has terminal cancer and I am not sure how much longer she will be on this earth.
I am writing this letter to thank the kind lady who came to our aid to help load my wife’s walker in the trunk of my car and also for her heartfelt sympathy toward my wife.
The first words my wife spoke as I was driving from the supermarket parking lot were, “there are kind people in this world.”
God bless you lady, whomever you are, and thank you from the both of us.
