March 21: The Manatee High School Sugar Canes Dance Team will host a technique clinic from 9 a.m.-noon at the school gymnasium for those in grades 7-10 interested in joining the team. April 19: The K-Swiss 10K at Heritage Harbour begins at 7:30 a.m. at Heritage Harbour’s Central Park, a half-mile east of Interstate 75 on State Road 64. The race is USATF certified and stands as the RRCA-FL state championship 10K. Information and registration: www.BradentonRunnersClub.com.
Ongoing: The YMCA is starting the Tracey Sanders Winning Edge Training Program designed to improve overall athletic skills for ages 10-18. The cost is $150.
