Prix fixe: Harry’s Continental Kitchen’s on Longboat Key welcomes the crisp fall weather with seasonal flavors and perfectly paired wines. Starting Nov. 6 the menu will offer a Fall Harvest four-course prix fixe menu starting at $29 per person or $43 per person with premium wine pairings. Reservations are recommended to (941) 383-0777. Stone crab feast: “Stone Crab Season Feast & Treat,” 7 p.m. Nov. 19 at The Ritz-Carlton, Sarasota. The all-you-can-eat dishes featuring stone crabs during this reception-style event. Ritz-Carlton Chefs will be at each station preparing the seasonal delicacy a variety of ways. Cost is $125 per person plus tax and gratuity. Reservations: (941) 309-2008. A stone crab wine dinner is 7 p.m. Nov. 20 for $110 per person.

Meal deal: Diners looking for a pre-theater, before a movie or early dinner have a new early dining deal of the season with Libby’s Café + Bar’s “Two dine for $25” special. Guests are seated and order by 6 p.m. and two diners each receive a two-course dinner for a total of $25. Drinks, tax and gratuity are additional. Libby’s is at 1917 Osprey Ave., Sarasota. Stone crab Thursdays: A Celebration of the Crustacean will take place every Thursday night during stone crab season at The Colony Beach & Tennis Resort dining room on Longboat Key. The restaurant offers a special 1-pound cracked claw dinner including choice of Caesar and house salad and a glass of The Colony’s private label red or white wine or a 3-course sensational Stone Crab Lover’s Dinner each for $39.95. The Colony Dining Room and Monkey Room Bar are open to the public for dinner 5-9 p.m. Tuesday-Thursday, Sunday and until 10 p.m. on Friday and Saturday. Oyster Lovers Oyster Festival: Pelican Pete’s, 12012 Cortez Road, Cortez Village, is having an Oyster Lovers Oyster Festival on Nov. 13-15 featuring Apalachicola oysters in six different preparations, including oyster shooters and oysters poached in Champagne. Information: 792-4822.

WINE TASTINGS

Mattison’s Riverside: 1200 First Ave. W., Bradenton, hosts Tuesday Tasting 5-7 p.m., offering the opportunity to sample a variety of wines from a featured vineyard, varietals or regional. Michael’s Wine Cellar at Michael’s On East: 1212 East Ave. S., Sarasota, offers monthly open house wine tastings and winemaker dinners that offer friendly conversation and good cheer while sampling more than 50 world-class wines.
