New menu: Chef Paul Mattison introduces new menu items at Mattison’s Riverside, 1200 First Ave. W., Bradenton. Many of the most popular items are still available. New items include Crab Artichoke Pesto over linguini, Beef Soba Pad Thai and Shrimp Scampi Florentine. New pizza offerings include steak and mushroom, white clam and Mediterranean chicken. Stone crab Thursdays: A Celebration of the Crustacean will take place every Thursday night during stone crab season at The Colony Beach & Tennis Resort dining room on Longboat Key. The restaurant offers a special 1-pound cracked claw dinner including choice of Caesar and house salad and a glass of The Colony’s private label red or white wine or a 3-course sensational Stone Crab Lover’s Dinner each for $39.95.
