Chris Kirkpatrick, a founding member of the band 'N Sync, will visit McKechnie Field on Thursday, Aug. 29 for the Bradenton Marauders Salute to Boy Bands. The game against the Fort Myers Miracle starts at 6:30 p.m. Gates open at 5:30 p.m.
Kirkpatrick, a founding member of the band ‘N Sync, will sign autographs, pose for photos, and throw out a ceremonial first pitch. Members of the Thirsty Thursday Club who have attended every Thursday game will have the first opportunity to mingle with Kirkpatrick in a private meet-and-greet, the Marauders said in a news release. Fans are encouraged to bring ‘N Sync memorabilia to the game for Kirkpatrick to autograph. He will sign autographs and pose for pictures on the outfield boardwalk near the Kona Bar from 6:30 to 7 p.m. After the autograph session Kirkpatrick will stay to meet and mingle with fans. After the game, the Kona Bar will stay open for Boy Band karaoke. The game is a Thirsty Thursday presented by Budweiser, meaning sodas and select draft beers cost just $1. Thirsty Thursday specials will continue during the postgame karaoke.
Other members of 'N Sync included Justin Timberlake. After ‘N Sync ceased recording in 2002, Kirkpatrick continued his career as a vocalist and voice actor. He continued his musical career as part of the band Nigels11.
