Navy Reserve Seaman Anastasia N. Stone, daughter of Jackie Dracup of Palmetto and Mark Stone of Bradenton, recently completed U.S. Navy basic training at Recruit Training Command, Great Lakes, Ill.
Brown
Christopher L. Brown was promoted to rank of Corporal of the U.S. Marine Corps on Aug. 20.
Brown was a member of Lakewood Ranch High School Jr. ROTC Mustang battalion 2005-06, where he received the Marine Award and held the rank of C/Command Sgt. Mg.
He graduated from Lakewood Ranch High School in 2006.
Brown was awarded the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal in February and the Medal of Good Conduct in June.
Brown is currently stationed in Cherry Point, N.C., and is assigned to Unit MALS-14, where he serves as an intelligence analyst.
He is the son of Randy Lee Brown and Lezlie Crook of Bradenton.
Hanna
Navy Seaman Dustin E. Hanna, son of Mary J. Gutbrod of Ellenton and Darrel E. Hanna of Treasure Island, recently completed U.S. Navy basic training at Recruit Training Command, Great Lakes, Ill.
Hanna is a 2005 graduate of Lakewood High School of St. Petersburg.
Gordon
Army Pfc. Eric A. Gordon has graduated from basic combat training at Fort Jackson, Columbia, S.C.
He is the son of Deana Tremarco of Wallingford Way, Parrish.
Gordon is a 2009 graduate of Palmetto High School.
Morales
Army Reserve Pfc. Anthony D. Morales has graduated from basic infantry training at Fort Benning, Columbus, Ga.
He is the son of Monica and Robert Serrano of Camden Harbour Drive, Bradenton.
Morales received a bachelor’s degree in 2009 from the University of South Florida, Tampa.
