Bradenton’s furry canines and felines were all decked for the Herald’s Halloween Pet Photo Contest. They donned themselves as Dr. Seuss characters, Rhett and Scarlett from “Gone with Wind,” cowdogs, a football player and several honey bees. Others were tough biker dogs, a rabbit and a cat dressed as a dog. More than 40 photo entries poured into Bradenton.com, with readers voting on the most creative costume in our dog and cat categories.
The most votes went to Tommy the cat — who was dressed as a colorful pumpkin — and Cooper, a 4-year-old Dachshund who was dressed as a hot dog.
