Monkey Paws Ice Cream & Coffee House is hosting a grand opening from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. today at its store in Lakewood Walk Plaza.
There will be live music from performer Colt Clark, free samples of ice cream, Hawaiian Isles Kona coffee, pastries and clown entertainment with temporary tattoos and balloon animals for children.

March of Dimes sale
MANATEE - March of Dimes "America's Babies" T-shirts will be on sale at all 20 West Florida First Bank offices beginning Tuesday through Aug. 8.
All proceeds from the T-shirt sales will go toward the March of Dimes Florida Bay Division.
First Bank employees can also make a $5 donation each Friday throughout the campaign when they wear an "America's Babies" T-shirt in the office.
The T-shirts can be purchased for $25 at any First Bank location in Manatee, Pinellas, Hillsborough and Pasco counties.
