BRADENTON - Catholic Charities of Manatee County will hold a Homeownership, Debt Management and Citizenship Fair from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. May 17 at its offices at 1219 16th St. W. in Bradenton.
The fair will provide help with foreclosure, short sale, debt management, budget counseling, reverse mortgage and information on the Catholic Charities HUD certified First Time Homebuyer Class. The class offers down payment assistance from Manatee County upon completion.
Counselors also will assist with applications for naturalization, and the U.S. Citizenship test.

Spring Fling golfers
EAST MANATEE - The Home Builders Association of Manatee County is looking for golfers to participate in its annual Spring Fling Golf Tournament on May 9 at River Strand Golf & Country Club in Heritage Harbour.
The tournament is a four-person scramble and will tee off at 1:30 p.m. Registrations are being accepted, but are limited to the first 144 players to sign up. The cost is $375 for a foursome, which includes golf, cart, range balls, drink tickets and dinner at the awards banquet.
The awards banquet will be held immediately following the tournament at Stoneybrook Country Club, which is also in Heritage Harbour.

Tourism luncheon May 13
MANATEE - The Longboat Key, Lido Key, St. Armands Key Chamber of Commerce will hold its National Tourism Week luncheon May 13.
"Putting the Pieces Together: The LBK Referenda Has Passed - Now What?" will be given by speaker David Brenner, with the Longboat Key Planning and Zoning Board.
The luncheon will be held at 11:30 a.m. at Mattison's Steakhouse at the Plaza - 525 Bay Isles Road, Longboat Key. Cost of the luncheon is $20 for chamber members and $30 for guests. For information or reservations, call 383-2466.

Manatee Golf moving
EAST MANATEE - After 17 years on Manatee Avenue, Manatee Golf will be moving east.
The business is moving to Gateway to the Ranch at the entrance to Rosedale on State Road 70 sometime this fall.
In the meantime, the store has opened at 8215 Nature's Way in San Marco Plaza. Hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Saturday.
