BRADENTON — Compass Self Storage is hosting a toy drive for Manatee Children’s Services by collecting donations of new, unwrapped toys.
Donations, accepted until Dec. 18, may be dropped of at any of the following Compass Self Storage locations: 8915 Cortez Road, 8424 Florida St., Sarasota, and 7750 Lockwood Ridge Road.
Beach Bistro opening at The Concession
MANATEE — Sean Murphy is opening a second Beach Bistro at The Concession Golf Course.
The Bistro’s dinner menu will feature entrees such as rack of lamb, prime American tenderloin, a Gulf Coast Bouillabaisse as well as grouper, butter-poached lobster and roasted duckling.
The new Bistro at The Concession will be supported by a base of culinary memberships that will permit access to the full culinary services at The Concession: a bistro-style restaurant and bar as well as The Concession’s dining rooms and venues for private parties, business gatherings and weddings.

Doctors relocate practice to Cortez Road
BRADENTON — Dr. John Orsborn and Dr. Rob Short have relocated their practices to the Wildewood Professional Park, 3653 Cortez Road, Suite 120, Bradenton.
Orsborn and Short are board certified acupuncture physicians and doctors of asian medicine.
They treat a variety of disorders utilizing acupuncture, Chinese therapeutic massage and herbal medicinal formulas prepared in their own herbal pharmacy.
