BRADENTON — Legal Aid of Manasota, in partnership with Community Capital Reinvestment Corp., is sponsoring a clinic for homeowners who are facing foreclosure.

The clinic is from 4-7 p.m. Dec. 1. Call Legal Aid at (941) 727-1628 to schedule an appointment.

The Bradenton Central Community Redevelopment Agency is hosting the event.

AMI Wedding Festival set for Feb. 28

ANNA MARIA — The Anna Maria Island Chamber of Commerce wedding merchants will be holding the third annual Anna Maria Island Chamber of Commerce Wedding Festival with more than 60 wedding vendors at 14 locations.

The event is set for Feb. 28 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Anna Maria Island Chamber of Commerce, 5313 Gulf Drive, Holmes Beach.

There will be cake, wine and catering tastings, and brides will be able to visit ceremony and reception venues, as well as viewing honeymoon suites and accommodations. A bridal fashion show is also scheduled. Brides-to-be will be able to meet with photographers, florists, musicians and DJs, wedding planners, caterers and hair and make-up specialists. Visitors will receive a complimentary tote for vendor information and a map of the various festival locales. Complimentary transportation will be provided by trolley or limousine service.

All registrants who visit at least 10 of the 14 vendor locations will be automatically entered into prize drawings worth more than $10,000 and including certificates for dining, spa services, beach or wedding portraits, limousine rentals, floral arrangements, music or DJ services, jewelry, resort stays and more. The grand prize is a destination wedding package presented to the winner at the Sandbar Restaurant following the sunset celebration and mock wedding at 5 p.m.
