The Palmetto Riverside Bed and Breakfast will open for business Sunday at 1102 Riverside Drive in Palmetto. The riverfront inn, owned by Wim and Mieke Lippens, is in a historic waterfront home built in 1913 by J.A. Lamb, a descendent of Samuel Sparks Lamb widely regarded as the father of Palmetto. The four-guestroom home is listed on the National Registry of Historic Places.

The inn is decorated with local and imported French period antiques. A 200-foot private dock is part of the property. The Lippens, who purchased the home last year, are from Belgium and, after working in a family-owned textile business, developed a passion for the hospitality business.

The inn is accepting reservations at (941) 981-5331. For more information, visit PalmettoRiverside.com.
