My first car: A brand new 1978 Mitsubishi Arrow GT. A two-door fastback coupe with a 2.0 liter engine and a five-speed manual transmission. It was an early Mitsubishi import through Chrysler/Dodge.
What I liked about it: I enjoyed the responsiveness and handling of the five-speed on hills and the curvy terrain where I grew up.
My favorite memory of it: Racing my sister down the dirt roads of Waywayanda State Park. We may disagree on who was the overall champion.
What I drive now: A 2002 Dodge 1500 Ram 4x4 with a 5.9 Magnum V8.
