Tupperware CEO to speak at luncheon

BRADENTON — Rick Goings, chief executive officer of Tupperware Brands, will speak at the May 6 corporate luncheon series for the Boys & Girls Club of Manatee County.

The noon luncheon will be held at the Bradenton Municipal Auditorium. The event is sponsored by RBC Centura Bank; the Bradenton Herald; Community Bank of Manatee; Miller Enterprises of Manatee, Inc.; IMG Academies; Steve Tinsworth, D.M.D.; Dick, Johnson Jefferson, Inc.; Mote Scientific Foundation; and Shinn & Company, P.A.

The luncheon was created to be an inspiring experience with proceeds going to the Boys & Girls Club of Manatee County. Various packages and sponsorships are available.

Pepsi Bottling hikes dividend

SOMERS, N.Y. — Pepsi Bottling Group Inc. says it is increasingly its quarterly dividend by 5.9 percent.

The board of directors increased the dividend to 18 cents per share from 17 cents.

The dividend will be paid on June 30 to all shareholders of record as of June 6.
