Product: Citrus gift baskets

Description: Pick from a variety of Florida-grown citrus, such as Minneola Honeybell tangelos, navel oranges and pink grapefruit, add an assortment of jams, jellies or sweets, and you have a great package to ship to your northern relatives suffering under 12 inches of snow. (Remember what that was like?)

Reason I like it: It captures a taste of old Florida, when seeing an orange growing on a tree was a novelty for many visitors to the Sunshine State, and it helps our local economy.

Price: From $35 and up, depending on the choices.

Where you can find it: Mixon’s Fruit Farm, 2712 26th Ave. E., (941) 748-5829
