James Adkins of Wagner Realty’s west Manatee office has graduated from the Florida Association of Realtors’ Leadership Academy. The one-year program is designed to identify emerging Realtor leaders and accepts just 12 to 15 students each year.
Steve Dennis, Tara Gitt and Camilla Jaquettehave joined Keller Williams on the Water as an associate. Dennis holds a masters degree in business administration and has more than 30 years of business experience. A former Manatee Chamber of Commerce vice president, Gitt has been a Realtor in Manatee County since 1999. Jaquette has a masters degree in management and has been a licensed real-estate agent since 2004.
Jim Soda of Prudential Palms Realty’s Lakewood Ranch office has received the Legend Award from Prudential Real Estate and Relocation Services. The award goes to agents who have achieved the company’s Chairman’s Circle level for at least five years.
Michael Magidson has joined Blalock, Walters, Held & Johnson, P.A. as an associate attorney, the Bradenton law firm announced.
Magidson earned his law degree from The Catholic University of America’s Columbus School of Law in Washington, D.C., and previously was an associate attorney in a Tampa law firm.
He will work primarily in Blalock Walters’ business, health care and litigation practice groups.
Marilyn Trevethan was Island Real Estate of Anna Maria Island’s top listing agent in September.
Liz Blandford and Kathleen White were the firm’s top sales agents that month, owner Frank Davis announced.
Steve and Maureen Horn have joined Michael Saunders & Co.’s Longboat Key office as Realtors. Maureen Horn, with the Mid-Florida Regional MLS, has joined the Longboat Key South office of Michael Saunders & Co.
Horn is currently ranked among the top 25 agents in the Sarasota market. Before joining MS&C she was an associate with Prudential Palms Realty, where she was recently ranked No. 1 in closed sales for June of 2009.
Her husband Steve is also joining the firm.
Kyla Weiner has joined Gray Swan Solutions, a Sarasota-based consulting firm, as a principal.
Weiner will focus on developing Web-based marketing campaigns for Gray Swan’s local and national customers.
Prior to joining Gray Swan Solutions, Weiner served as assistant vice president in the sales and marketing department of SunTrust Bank, Southwest Florida.
