The Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants has appointed Elizabeth T. Carlson to the Committee for Relations with the Florida Bar. Carlson was appointed by the executive board because of her active daily involvement with the legal profession and expertise in the specialty of litigation support.
The Committee for Relations with the Florida Bar proactively promotes goodwill between the accounting and legal professions through joint programs and participation that includes similar goal oriented projects.

Dr. Lodovico Balducci, program leader for the senior adult oncology program at Moffitt Cancer Center, was one of four American doctors chosen to attend the fifth annual Middle East Cancer Consortium conference in Cyprus.
The consortium was established in 1996 as a partnership between the United States and the Ministries of Health of Cyprus, Egypt, Israel, Jordan, the Palestinian Authority and Turkey to raise cancer awareness in the Middle East and reduce the burden of cancer in the region.
