SARASOTA — Local roofing contractors are joining forces to provide a new roof to the residents and staff at Pines of Sarasota. On July 18, construction will continue and be completed on a new roof of the laundry facility on the campus of the long-term care community. Members of the Sarasota Manatee Roofing & Sheet Metal Contractors Association will donate the labor and materials, totaling approximately $15,000, to re-roof the 5,500 square foot building. More than 10 local roofing companies and five roofing supply houses are participating in the project.
