Statewide prison lockdown lifted, visitations allowed again

The Florida Department of Corrections announced a lifting of the statewide prison lockdown that cancelled visitations and had every corrections officer called in to work. The department claimed it was doing so in reaction to “intelligence” that some inmates planned “disruptions.”
