Eat, Drink and Be Merry Cinema Program: South Florida Museum, 201 10th St. W., Bradenton

South Florida Museum invites the public to be a part of their newest offering, Eat, Drink and Be Merry Film Series. All movie times are 7 p.m. Thursdays with live music beginning at 6 p.m. The schedule of the movies: “All in This Tea” with a special screening of “Eat Drink Man Woman” Oct. 29, and “Chocolat” Nov. 5. Farmers’ Market, Main Street, Bradenton

The downtown farmers’ market will be 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Oct. 31 and every Saturday of the month through May. The market will feature fresh food and produce vendors, plant and flowers, jewelry, and arts and crafts. Admission: free. Information: 544-8077

Bradenton Courthouse Square Concert: Manatee County Courthouse Square, Bradenton

The Bradenton Courthouse Square Concert will be 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Oct. 31 featuring live music. Some tables and chairs will be provided and there are park benches on the courthouse grounds. The concerts are free. Information: 704-4366.

Antique and Art Fair: Whitney Beach Plaza, 6810 Gulf of Mexico Drive, Longboat Key

The first Antique and Art Fair will start 9 a.m. Oct. 31 and Nov. 1 featuring antique items and art from local artists, music, trick-or-treating for all ages, and a Halloween party at 7 p.m. Oct. 31. All proceeds will benefit Save our Seabirds and the Longboat Key Turtle Watch. The event is free. Food and beverages are available for purchase. Information: 383-1901.

“A Bark in the Park” Canine Celebration and Adoption: The Canine Commons Dog Park, River Sound on Morgan Johnson Road, Bradenton

Underdog Rescue will host a canine celebration in Neal Communities’ River Sound noon-2 p.m. Nov. 1. There will be doggie demonstrations, games for children, food, displays and wonderful small dogs available for adoption. Families and friendly dogs are welcome. The event is free, but donations of dog food, dog supplies and cash for Underdog Rescue are appreciated. Information: 321-9601.
