De Soto Heritage Festival 5K Run

West Bradenton – Manatee Avenue to 9th Street West (approximately 3 miles)
6:15 PM
Coordinated by the Bradenton Runners Club, the De Soto 5K Run will precede the Grand Parade down the middle of Manatee Avenue along the parade route. It offers runners an experience similar to the Boston Marathon with a point to point race along streets lined with thousands of cheering spectators.
To add to the excitement, overall male and female winners ride in the parade after the race.
