Manatee deputies pursue vehicle possibly involved in Bradenton shooting

MANATEE -- Deputies chased a vehicle allegedly involved in a Bradenton shooting for 14 minutes into Sarasota Tuesday night, according to the Manatee County Sheriff's Office.

A vehicle that matched the description of a vehicle used in a shooting in Bradenton was located in the 1500 block of 60th Avenue West at 9:32 p.m., according to deputies.

Deputies tried to initiate a traffic stop and the vehicle fled, heading into Sarasota, according to a release. The watch unit and Sarasota County Sheriff's Office were notified, and officers stopped the suspect's vehicle using tire deflation devices.

The three occupants of the vehicle were arrested but the shooting suspect was not in the car. Deputies say speeds during the chase reached 70 mph and no one was injured.
