Palmetto man charged with battery after trying to boot woman from motel room

BRADENTON — A Palmetto man has been charged with battery after a dispute with his girlfriend, according to the Manatee County Sheriff’s Office.

Adrian Cloudio Conde, 28, was reportedly arrested at 3 a.m. Monday at 2303 First St. E., Bradenton.

Conde and his girlfriend, who have been dating for more than a year, reportedly argued after he asked her to leave the hotel room they were sharing with friends. The victim told deputies she did not want to leave the room at 3 a.m. and had nowhere to go.

The girlfriend reportedly knew Conde was having another girl come over.

After she refused to leave, Conde reportedly began slapping the victim, pulling her hair and hitting her with her own phone. The victim reportedly punched back at Conde and scratched him.

Conde and the victim reportedly did not want the other arrested.

Conde was arrested and being held on bonds totaling $4,500.
