None hurt in drive by shooting in Manatee

— No one was injured during a drive by shooting at a home early Saturday, the Manatee County Sheriff's Office reports.

Two adults and three juveniles were standing in front of the residence in the 200 block of 60th Avenue Drive West when a woman and her boyfriend pulled up in a blue Toyota Corolla, according to a report.

The two parties began to argue, followed by a fist fight that quickly ended, deputies said. As the two people in the Corolla drove away, they yelled that they would be back, the report states.

About 15 minutes later, after the other people had gone inside the house, a dark Ford Explorer or Expedition pulled up, and an occupant began shooting before speeding away, the report states.

Five rounds apparently hit the front of the home, although no one was injured, according to the sheriff's office.

The incident happened some time around 1:45 a.m. The suspect vehicle could not be found.
