BRADENTON — A Bradenton woman was charged with grand theft after she stuffed hundreds of dollars stolen from Walmart into her bra, according to the Manatee County Sheriff’s Office.

Lakela Clarkson, 18, was arrested at 7:05 p.m. Wednesday at the store at 2911 53rd Ave. E., Bradenton. She reportedly concealed $340 from her cash register in her bra.

Clarkson was reportedly seen by a loss prevention official who has Clarkson remove the money from her bra. Clarkson reportedly admitted taking the money saying it was her first time doing something like this.

She was booked in jail and released Thursday on $1,500 bond.
