Chemical weapons use proof of Hussein's WMDs

July 10, 2014

With reference to the article by Joseph J. Ellis in the July 6 Opinion page, it is amazing to me that he could claim that there were no weapons of mass destruction in Iraq during the tenure of Saddam Hussein.

I am sure that his reporting of this will be of real comfort to the families of the 10,000 or so Kurds who were killed by Saddam using chemical weapons, which are classified as WMDs.

But the sad fact is that this left-wing zealot is among like-minded professors who have been indoctrinating young minds on college campuses for several decades.
