BRADENTON -- Police charged two individuals with possession of cocaine after officers conducted a traffic stop for a window tint violation on Wednesday afternoon, according to the Bradenton Police Department.

Police performed the traffic stop at 2:20 p.m. Wednesday in the 1700 block of Ninth Street West and noticed the passenger trying to hide a vial as they approached the vehicle, according to a report.

Police said they had the two suspects step outside the vehicle and searched both them and the car, finding cocaine on both the driver and the passenger.

An infant was in the backseat, so police called the abuse hotline in addition to charging the two individuals, and the vehicle was seized, according to the report.
