Crash slows Interstate 275 traffic in St. Petersburg

A multi-vehicle crash about 1:30 p.m. has halted traffic on Interstate 275 at 38th Avenue North in St. Petersburg. AMARIS CASTILLO/Bradenton Herald

ST. PETERSBURG -- Southbound Interstate 275 in St. Petersburg is partially blocked because of a multi-vehicle crash, according to Florida Highway Patrol.

The crash, near 38th Avenue North, was reported a 1:29 p.m., according to the FHP website.

All lanes were blocked, but the center and inside lanes have since be reopened.

Details about the crash were not immediately available.
