Miami, FL (SportsNetwork.com) - The Miami Marlins placed pitcher A.J. Ramos on the 15-day disabled list Wednesday due to shoulder inflammation in his throwing shoulder.

Ramos, a right-hander, is 4-0 with a 2.17 ERA in 39 relief appearances this season. He has allowed just 23 hits and struck out 42 in 37 1/3 innings.

The move is retroactive to June 28.

To fill the vacated roster spot, the Marlins recalled infielder Justin Bour from Triple-A New Orleans.
