Downtown Bradenton animal shelter to close temporarily for cleaning

MANATEE – Manatee County Animal Services on Tuesday will close its downtown Bradenton Adoption Center temporarily for maintenance and cleaning.

All dogs and cats at the downtown Adoption Center, 1002 B Manatee Ave. W., Bradenton, will be moved to the Palmetto-based Animal Services Shelter while county staff members do maintenance chores and a floor-to-ceiling cleaning of the center.

The downtown Adoption Center will reopen when facility maintenance and cleaning are complete, according to a news release.

Animal Services in Palmetto, 305 25th St. W., will be open 10 a.m.- 5 p.m., Monday-Friday and from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday, county officials said.
