Deputies looking for Manatee suspect who shot at storage unit, no injuries

MANATEE -- A passenger in a slow-driving vehicle fired several rounds in the direction of storage units late Sunday night, according to the Manatee County Sheriff's Office.

A witness called deputies to report the incident in the 1200 block of Whitfield Avenue at 10:30 p.m. on Sunday, according to a report. There were no people in the direction the suspect was firing, and no injuries were reported.

Deputies found several impact points and evidence was collected at the scene.

The suspects are described as a male driver with scruffy beard and short afro and a male passenger with short fade haircut. Both suspects were wearing light colored shirts and driving a tan or silver 96-97 Model Buick Regal or Lesabre, according to deputies.
