Missouri police looking for fraud suspect who picked up $2,000 Moneygram in Palmetto

The suspect was caught on camera leaving the Palmetto Walmart after picking up a $2,000 MoneyGram.

BRADENTON -- Police are looking for a man who picked up a MoneyGram at a Palmetto Walmart for $2,000 but never handed over the vehicle for sale, according to the Bowling Green, Mo., Police Department.

The suspect listed a 2006 Nissan Altima SL for sale on Craigslist for $2,210. A resident from Bowling Green, Mo., sent $2,000 for the vehicle via MoneyGram to the suspect, paying an additional $155 to send it, according to police.

The MoneyGram was picked up by the suspect at 11:51 a.m. on June 4 at a Palmetto Walmart.

The suspect used two different names in the transaction, according to police.
