Bradenton man charged with stealing baby products from Palmetto Walmart

PALMETTO -- A Bradenton man was charged with theft Thursday after she stole some baby products from a Palmetto Walmart, according to the Palmetto Police Department.

Jaime Allen New, 40, was arrested at 4:37 p.m. at Walmart Supercenter, 508 10th St. E., Palmetto. According to a police report, an asset protection employee observed New selecting two boxes of baby diapers and a pack of wipes. He then exited the store. According to police, the amount of the theft totaled to $45.51.

New was booked in jail on $120 bond, according to a probable cause affidavit. Further booking information was not immediately available on the Manatee County Sheriff's website.
