Bradenton man charged with throwing rocks through company vans

BRADENTON -- A Bradenton man was charged with burglary after he broke into vans belonging to an electric service company on June 5, according to the Manatee County Sheriff's Office.

Steven Wilson, 33, was arrested at at United Electric, 2045 60th Place E., Bradenton. According to a report, three vans belonging to United Electric were broken into in the parking lot.

"The vans were broken into by an unknown male, captured on video surveillance by throwing a rock through the windows of the vehicles," the report states.

Two of the vehicle were broken out, but deputies said nothing seemed to be missing. A deputy completed another report of a burglary involving the vehicle Wilson was driving. According to a report, a deputy contacted the registered owner who identified Wilson as the person he allowed to borrow the vehicle. Wilson's mother was also contacted. According to a report, she positively identified the person in the video as her son.

Wilson was booked in jail and was being held on bonds totaling $1,000.
