Manatee deputies looking for missing woman

MANATEE -- The Manatee County Sheriff's Office is looking for a missing 28-year Bradenton woman with past substance abuse issues who has threatened to harm herself, according to the report.

Valerie Williams, of the 600 block of 59th Avenue Drive West, was last seen in Manatee County in mid-May. She last spoke to her grandmother on May 30 when Williams called her from Hollywood, Fla., according to a news release.

Williams' mother reported her as missing on June 9, according to the sheriff's office.

Williams is 5 feet, 7 inches tall and weighs 110 pounds. She has auburn hair and green eyes.
