What was the best business advice you ever received?
Communication and follow up are key and that has served me well since I have been in sales most of my career.
If you could choose another profession, what would it be?
A food critic. I have a big passion for food and wine and to get compensated to dine and taste wine while traveling the world would be a great.
What's the biggest risk you have taken in your career?
I lived in Hawaii where I worked as a key account specialist for a major wine and liquor distributor selling spirits to 5-star hotels on the big island of Hawaii and loved my lifestyle but to raise a family we moved to the mainland. To remove myself from the workforce was a big risk. But I found my way back into sales and I love this job.
If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would you start?
I've never been to Spain or Portugal. I'd start there and move my way down to Morocco and then on to Turkey. Food and wine would be my priority.
