BRADENTON -- Bradenton police are investigating the death of a 31-year-old man Tuesday evening, according to the report.

About 10:17 p.m., police and paramedics responded to the 2300 block of Ninth Avenue West where they found the man unconscious. Paramedics attempted CPR, but they were unable to revive him, police said.

The man's roommates told police that they believe it was a drug overdose, but Lt. James Racky said they have no evidence of that and are waiting on official tests.

The man's name was not included in the report.

Other details were not immediately available, as the investigation continues.
