Police said 34-year-old Lonnie Lee did not like the noise going on outside his apartment. When he complained, an argument broke out with another man. A witness said Lee punched the 25-year-old man, knocking him to the ground, and then shot him in the face when he stood up.

Authorities say Lee then stood over the top of the man and shot him again at close range. The man, who has not been identified, died of at the scene.

Lee will appear before a Pinellas County judge Monday, facing a second-degree murder charge.

Officials said Lee told detectives his neighbor attacked him, forcing him to shoot.
