Liberty adds transfer from Penn State

Lynchburg, VA (SportsNetwork.com) - Liberty University football coach Turner Gill announced the addition of transfer offensive lineman Tanner Hartman from Penn State on Thursday.

Hartman, 6-foot-6, 290 pounds, redshirted as a freshman last year after signing as one of 17 recruits in Penn State's 2013 recruiting class.

Hartman, a native of Christiansburg, Va., played high school football at Liberty Christian Academy in Lynchburg. As a senior, he was a two-star recruit by Rivals and a three-star recruit by 247sports.com.
