Bradenton police looking for unknown woman in check-cashing scheme

BRADENTON -- Police are looking for an unknown woman who allegedly fraudulently cashed a $1,200 check on Friday, according to a Bradenton police report.

The suspect reportedly went to the drive-thru lane of the Suntrust Bank located at 7419 Manatee Ave. West and used the victim's driver's license to cash the check. The victim's purse had been reported as stolen to the Clearwater Police Department on March 7.
