WASHINGTON -- A new report claims some government employees aren't paying their taxes, including those who work for the IRS.

The IRS released data showing 3.3 percent of federal employees and retirees owe the government unpaid taxes.

The amount these employees and former employees owe could buy a professional sports team; it's estimated to be $3.3 billion.

They either couldn't pay the full amount, got hit with an audit or owed more than they paid.

The IRS had a delinquency rate of .9 percent; .9 percent of $3.3 billion, in case you were wondering, is $29.7 million.

That means those government employees owe almost $30 million in interest alone.
