The Sports NetworkMay 21, 2014

Miami, FL (SportsNetwork.com) - The Philadelphia Phillies placed starter Cliff Lee on the 15-day disabled list after an MRI revealed a Grade 1/2 left elbow strain.

The club announced the news after Tuesday's 6-5 win in Miami.

Lee has been dealing with tenderness in the elbow for a couple weeks and underwent the MRI earlier Tuesday in Philadelphia before joining the club at Marlins Park.

The 35-year-old is 4-4 with a 3.18 ERA in 10 outings this season.

A corresponding move will be made at a later date.
