At least 1 hurt in hit-and-run crash in Palmetto

MANATEE -- At least one person was injured in a hit-and-run crash in Palmetto on Tuesday morning, according to Florida Highway Patrol.

The crash, which was reported at 10:01 a.m., happened at the intersection of 21st Street East and Second Avenue East, according to the FHP website.

FHP said there initially was roadblock in the intersection, but it has since been cleared.

Other details about the crash were not immediately available.
