John Buetergerds, a real estate professional with The Sarasota Suncoast Team at Keller Williams Realty Sarasota Lakewood Ranch, has been awarded the Internet Marketing Specialist designation for his proficiency in using Internet marketing strategies to help his customers market their properties. Buetergerds is trained in marketing real estate across the Internet, including all the major search engines, social media channels, blogging, video and search engine optimization.

Rebecca Blitz is the new Suncoast Regional Director for Make-A-Wish of Central and Northern Florida. Blitz comes to Make-A-Wish with extensive experience in development, marketing and events coordination. She has served as a volunteer with many not-for-profit agencies. The Make-A-Wish Foundation in the Sarasota Region grants the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions in Sarasota, Manatee, Charlotte, DeSoto and Hardee counties. A "wish" is created solely through the imagination of

the child.

Amanda "Mandie" Ferguson is the Manatee County Tax Collector's Employee of the Quarter. Ferguson is an associate II in quality assurance of the current Collections Department. She is responsible for the DMV daily reports, DMV quality control, quarterly employee recognitions, the Secret Shopper Program and is often assigned special projects.

Chris Flannagan has been hired as webmaster for USF Sarasota-Manatee. Flannagan oversees maintenance of USFSM's website and mini-sites, devises enhancements to the campus' overall presence on the web through design and usability and implements new web systems. Flannagan holds a bachelor's degree in interactive design from the University of North Carolina, Asheville, and a master's degree in media management from Syracuse University. He was previously webmaster and digital marketer for Sarasota Memorial Health Care Systems, CEO and developer for several smaller LLCs, and spent more than 10 years as an independent contractor.

Michelle Stacy and Kevin Haley recently joined the board of directors for Tervis. Stacy was president of Keurig Inc., a $2 billion division of Green Mountain Coffee Roasters. Haley has been with Under Armour, Inc. since 2007 and is currently senior vice president of innovation.

Danene Jaffe has been named head of marketing, branding and innovation strategy for Tervis. Mellisa Allen is a new technology activist with the company. Mark Lawson heads engineering, quality and new product development at Tervis.

Longtime Bradenton dance teachers Souhad and Tess Chawi recently marked 25 years in business as owners of Sarabay Dance Club.
